What are DanceFeet® custom-made orthotics?
DanceFeet® Custom Orthotics are specially designed corrective devices that assist feet in working as they should. They help to control foot function, balance weight properly, and improve biomechanics. Our orthotics are made in Ontario, Canada and DanceFeet® has been serving the Toronto community and beyond for the past 15 years.
DanceFeet® custom orthotics are designed to fit invisibly inside all types of footwear including high heels, dress shoes, boots and running shoes.

DanceFeet® strives to provide you with superb customer service and the highest quality product. Our goal is to respond to all messages within 48 hours. If you are not completely satisfied with the product, we will modify your orthotic, within the first 3 months, at no additional cost.
Our Story
Co-founders Susan and Dr. Glenn first crossed paths while enjoying the vibrant rhythms of Salsa dancing in the year 2005. From 2008 to 2016, they traveled extensively, both locally and internationally, performing and competing in Latin Dance. During this time, they quickly noticed a significant gap in the market: there was no orthotic device specifically designed to fit comfortably into dance shoes. In response to this need, in 2009, they designed orthotics capable of fitting seamlessly into any type of footwear, including high heels, dress shoes, and even hockey skates. For the past 15 years, they have dedicated their efforts to creating high-quality orthotics suitable for a diverse range of footwear, catering to everything from elegant high-heeled dance shoes to practical everyday walking shoes and work boots.
The DanceFeet® Process: Step by Step...
Step 1: We're excited to schedule your first meeting at our clinic located at 145 Ossington Ave., Toronto! During your 30-40 min initial visit, we'll conduct a gait assessment and a bio-mechanical evaluation to ensure we understand your needs and can create the perfect custom orthotics just for you.
Step 2: Please bring a pair of your regularly worn shoes so we can accurately fit the orthotics for those particular shoes. This ensures a perfect match, optimizing comfort and support.
Step 3: At this stage, we will take a 50% deposit for your custom orthotics to place your order. Following this, the manufacturing and shipping process typically takes around 2 to 3 weeks to complete.
Step 4: Once we receive your completed orthotics, we will arrange a follow-up appointment to conduct a custom fitting session. During this meeting, we will also give you an official receipt along with all necessary documentation you may need to submit to your insurance company if your coverage includes such services.
Step 5: If any modifications are required within the first three months after receiving your orthotics, we will gladly provide this adjustment service at no additional cost to you. Your satisfaction and comfort are our utmost priority.
Our Location
Ossington Chiropractic and Rehabilitation (OCR) officially opened it's doors in April, 2015. It is also the home of DanceFeet Orthotics where all gait assessments and fittings are performed. We also provide treatment for foot pain and exercise rehabilitation as orthotics are often only one part of the solution.
